KITSAP PUMAS ANNOUNCE 2016 TRYOUT SCHEDULE
Professional contracts with 2011 national champion and 2014 finalist on the line.
BREMERTON, Wash. — The Kitsap Pumas will hold an open tryout on Jan. 30-31, 2016, as well as an invitation-only tryout Feb. 14-15 ahead of their 2016 season in USL Premier Development League. Players will have the chance to compete for professional contracts on a team with a proven track record of moving players onto higher-level pro teams in the United States and abroad.
Tryouts are open to players 16 years of age and older. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the event. There is a $20 registration fee for the Open Tryout, of which players will receive $10 back on the day of tryouts. All events will take place between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The January tryout is open to all interested players. The February event is open only to those invited by members of the Kitsap Pumas coaching staff—others will be turned away. Players with previous collegiate and professional experience are invited to email the club for consideration for an invitation. (If players are unable to attend the February date, they are asked to register for a supplemental tryout March 5-6 and contact the coaching staff.)
The Pumas coaching staff will be on hand to oversee tryouts and evaluate trialists. For any additional information regarding the tryout, please contact head coach Cameron MacDonald at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The tryouts, as well as Pumas first team training and home matches during the 2016 season, will be held at Gordon Field on the Kitsap County Fairgrounds.
