Mike, a mainstay with the 2017 Kitsap Soccer Club squad and was the only player to play every single minute of the team’s first nine regular season games before sitting out the regular season finale against PDX FC.

Since playing for Kitsap in 2017, Scharf has been playing with the Tacoma Stars and had trials with other professional-level teams. 

Mike Scharf, a native of Wildwood, Missouri, completed his final collegiate season at Missouri S&T, where he was one of three players to start all of the Miners’ games in 2016. He finished the season with three assists. Scharf played 1824 minutes helping the team post six shutouts and reach No. 16 in NCAA Division II.

Prior to playing for Missouri S&T, Scharf played a season at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee and two seasons at Maryville University in St. Louis. While at Maryville, he made 27 appearances with 24 starts. He had two assists in his career for the Saints.

Scharf was also invited to preseason practices with Saint Louis FC, the USL team in St. Louis, and he played two exhibition games with the team this past spring as well.

Scharf played for SW Florida Adrenaline in Naples, Florida, during the PDL during the 2016 season.
