The Blue Guard was established in 2011 by a group of Kitsap Pumas supporters. The purpose of the group is to support the club by standing, singing and displaying flags during Pumas matches. They are easily spotted on match day with their signature blue and white flags and distinct scarves. The group is always open to any Pumas supporter that wishes to join them in the stands and give their full vocal support to the club.
The Hellcats, an independent fan/supporters group for the Kitsap Pumas was founded in the Pumas inaugural season 2009. The Hellcats were formed out of the energy and excitement of the 2009 season for the defending NW PDL Champions. The Hellcat logo was inspired by the Naval fighter planes called Hellcats that were instrumental in American efforts in World War II. Those small, adroit fighters featured the giant star circle insignia with solid bar that acts as the shape for the Hellcats logo. At the center is a snarling Pumas in front of a circle proudly displaying the stripes that also make the Pumas uniforms so distinctive.
The Hellcats invite all Pumas fans to take their support to a higher level on the pitch. During home games you can join them waving the giant blue and white checkered flags, make noise by banging on pots and pans in support of the Pumas or join a caravan going to away games. Off the pitch the Hellcats brought food to the players after matches or practices, hosted players in their homes and took the club into their hearts.
