Kitsap Soccer Club, alongside being one of the most storied clubs in the U.S. lower leagues, consistently pushes its players on to higher level professional leagues around the world. Below are selected players for whom Kitsap provided a platform to build their pro careers.

Bryan made 14 league appearances for the Kitsap Pumas in 2011, before being signed by the Seattle Sounders of the MLS on September 12, 2011

Bryan Meredith, Seattle Sounders (MLS)

Miguel scored six goals for the Kitsap Pumas during the 2014 run to the PDL Championship Game. He signed for Colorado Springs Switchbacks of the USL and scored 11 goals in his first season.

Miguel Gonzalez, Colorado Springs Switchbacks (USL)

Neil captained the Kitsap Pumas in 2013, and scored an impressive five goals from midfield. He has since been a stalwart of the Harrisburg City Islanders USL side and now features for Indy Eleven in the NASL.

Neil Shaffer, Indy Eleven (NASL)

Dan appeared in 25 games for the Kitsap Pumas during the 2010 & 2011 campaigns. Part of the National Championship winning team, he was soon picked up by the Tampa Bay Rowdies (NASL)

Daniel Scott, Tampa Bay Rowdies (NASL)

“Chuy” scored 5 goals in 11 appearances for the Kitsap Pumas during the 2014 campaign before being picked up by Oklahoma City Energy of the USL.

Jesus Sanchez, Oklahoma City Energy (USL)

Zac made 18 apperances for the Kitsap Pumas before joining Swedish professional outfit FK Luleå. He eventually returned to the U.S. to sign for Tulsa Roughnecks of the USL.

Miguel’s younger brother, Danny was instrumental in helping the Kitsap Pumas reach the PDL championship game in 2014. His performances in the hoops earned him a contract with Oklahoma City Energy of the USL.

Daniel Gonzalez, Oklahoma City Energy (USL)

UNLV forward Joaquin provided a huge goalscoring threat during the 2014 season. Sacramento Republic wasted no time in signing him up for their USL campaign.

Carlos arrived in Kitsap in February of 2015 by way of the Vancouver Whitecaps academy. A key member of that years squad he was immediately snapped up by S2 at the end of the PDL season.

Carlos Patino, Seattle Sounders 2 (USL)

Oregon State graduate Borce joined the Pumas in the summer of 2015 and made an instant impact helping the side to an undefeated regular season.

Borce Atanasov, FC Horizont Turnovo (Europe)

Miller started the 2015 season as a midfielder but a quick change to forward yielded an impressive 7 goal haul in the final 5 games of the season.

Logan Miller, Wilmington Hammerheads (USL)

After playing a pivotal role in the Kitsap Pumas 2013 season, Andy returned to the UK to sign for highly respected Scottish side Dunfermline Athletic FC

Andrew Stirling, Dunfermline Athletic FC (Europe)

A member of the 2013 Pumas squad, left back Brandon’s lightening pace helped him secure a pro contract in Europe.

Brandon Scott, Leiknir Reykjavik (Europe)

Powerful forward Daniels put in some strong performances during the 2013 season and was rewarded with a pro contract from one of Iceland’s top teams.

Will Daniels, Aegir (Europe)

2010 & 2011 Pumas midfielder David signed professionally in Scotland after his time in Kitsap. Not long after returning he scored a late equalizer against Rangers FC in front of 50,000 fans.

David Gray, Clyde FC (Europe)

After two successful seasons in Kitsap, Hepple was the first Pumas player sold to a top tier european club.
