About the Club
The Pumas are a professional soccer team (only one of the two professional soccer clubs in WA) and play in the USL,PDL NW Division. The Pumas are the franchise of the old Seattle Sounders. As the Sounders became an MLS team, the old USL franchise was taken over by Robin Waite and moved to Kitsap County. Thus, the Kitsap Pumas were born. The club plays against high quality opposition and has three MLS affiliated clubs in our division (Whitecaps 23,Timbers 23 and Sounders 23). The Pumas have had great success since they were founded in 2009. Winning the division twice and the National Champtionship in 2011. The Pumas have played against teams such as the Seattle Sounders and Portland Timbers in the US Open Cup and always made Kitsap proud by giving a good account of ourselves.
