BREMERTON, Wash. — The Kitsap Pumas played a friendly on Tuesday night against the local Evergreen Premier League team, Olympic Force. The Force agreed to play the Pumas, despite their full squad not being available yet ahead of the upcoming season.
“We’d like to express our thanks to the Force for helping us out,” Kitsap head coach Cameron MacDonald said. “With a last-minute cancellation, it’s always tough to find an opponent willing to play, but they stepped up for us.”
The Pumas continue preseason preparations ahead of their first regular-season match on May 7 against the Victoria Highlanders. Kitsap has three preseason games remaining: at Seattle Pacific University and against Seattle Sounders 2 and Seattle University.
