BREMERTON, Wash. — The Kitsap Pumas look to finish out their regular season strong with a final game against the Calgary Foothills on Sunday at 2 p.m. The Pumas and Foothills meet for the third time this season and the first at Gordon Field.
The Foothills have already locked up the PDL Northwest Division after their 3-2 win over the Seattle Sounders U23 on Friday, giving them 27 points on the season. The Foothills have spent much of the season at the top of the table, only being overtaken by Seattle for a short period of time.
The Pumas can finish as high as fourth in the table with a win against Calgary. Kitsap currently has 14 points and sits tied for fifth place with the Victoria Highlanders.
The Pumas will also be celebrating Hope For A Cure Day at Gordon Field for their final home game. All the Pumas players will be wearing pink jerseys that will be auctioned off, with proceeds going toward cancer research, and the club will be hosting pre-game and halftime events in the name of awareness.
